I work with groups of senior executives who are stuck or stalled because of an internal or interorganisational issue.
My approach is based on the belief that the answer is in the room. These people are smart, they know their business, but their communication methods get in the way. My role is to facilitate them all to a common understanding of the issue in an environment that neutralises distractions (politics, personal agendas, past grievances etc.) This allows them to focus on all the factors that need to be dealt with to move on. This way the groups expertise and experience is applied to moving forward to a better outcome.
